After breakfast, we went to the bus, and we arrived at Epcot. I hung out with Aaron, Brian, Luk, Gabino, and Jeff (who was tagging along.) It was raining somewhat, which is why I was happy I brought along a jacket. But it was hot and humid as hell. We went to the Innoventions center and tried some video games out; I remember after entering, getting Gabino's walkie-talkie, and running out with Jeff trying to find Spencer-tachi and trying to get Jeff to follow them. I also tried that sometime later, but it didn't work. The first main attraction we went to was Body Works first, a Star Tours type interactive movie. It wasn't all that great. We tried going on that car ride, but it was closed, and we didn't get fastpasses because we wouldn't be there for that long.
After that we went to the Space ride, in what I think was in the big golf ball thing. The ride was slow and long, and it stopped three damn times! I remember taking pictures two out of those three times. It was funny because other people started following me... the wait was kinda boring, but not too long. After that we went to eat, and we stopped at Italy before heading to Japan. I got the Y.. it began with a Y. It was basically rice and kebobs with chicken, beef, and shrimp, with an orange slice and a broccoli slice. We took the ferry back to the entrance, I remember all the seats were wet. But it was better than walking. We had time to kill, so we went back to the Innoventions center, where we took a group photo. I was closing my eyes... after that we were still early to our group meeting place, so we spent some time looking at the legacy statue-type thing: $38.00 for some little engraved picture on a wall. Pretty stupid if you ask me. A little later after that we met as a group and headed for the hotel. We got changed into our band uniforms, got our instruments, and boarded the buses. Evan took a picture of Joe sleeping, and Joe stole my camera, and took a picture of Alex sleeping. Then someone took several stupid pictures (I think it was Jeff -.-) and wasted like 5 shots. What was funny was when David K. hit David F. on the head with his shoe, everyone was like "Oooh" for about thirty seconds or so, LOL. Then Ms. Jenni got tired of that and yelled "GET A LIFE FRESHMEN!" And everyone yelled "Oohhh!" LOL that was so funny.
And when was this picture taken of me?So we got to Valencia college somewhat late. We got our instruments out on the sidewalk and left our cases back on the bus. We went inside, and warmed up. We went onstage and there were like 10 people in the audience. So we played Northwest Rising and Canarios Fantasia, and both pieces sucked. The judge who evaluated us basically reassured us that we sucked big time ^_^ The audience seemed to enjoy it though. (That's sarcasm BTW, there were maybe 20 people in the audience.) After that we took group pictures, they wouldn't let me have my shades on for the formal picture -.- I gave them to Alex for the informal picture. So we got back to the hotel and we had a choice of going back to the Magic Kingdom or staying at the hotel. We were originally supposed to go to Epcot, but we found it too boring. Our little group that wanted to go back to the Magic Kingdom stayed at the entrance to the hotel, and yelled at the balcony where all these Minnesota and Iowa people were staying. There was a mistake and the bus company didn't know they were supposed to pick us up, so we had to wait. I remember I was going to go up the elevator to my room to wait, but then Aaron stopped me and asked me if I wanted to play games. Which was lucky...
At around 7:30 (when the bus was scheduled to come) we were waiting oustide, and we heard from Ms. Jenni that the other people who were supposed to go to the Magic Kingdom were stuck in the elevator. Apparently they jumped and had broken it. So only about 12 or 13 people went to the Magic Kingdom that day. And there were 11 people stuck in the elevator. (I would name them, but I don't know if they want to be mentioned in this section...) I remember the bus was really empty, and I took a few pictures.
When we got to the Magic Kingdom we were all talking about how weird it was the elevator got stuck. And Amanda was fretting about how she left her ticket at the hotel... so we vouched for her, and she got in. Yeah it was a relieving moment.
I remember a little kid told me to give him a high five, and I did, but I didn't see he had all this oil crap on his hand. I hope that little kid rots in hell. Anyways, we went to the Buzz Lightyear Space ride first.. just me, Luk, and Aaron. I scored under 5,000, if anyone wanted to know ^_^ I sucked so damn much, so as an excuse I'll just say I was busy finding a good picture. After that ride we went to Space Mountain for the last time on the trip-- it was fun! I screamed a whole bunch, as well as sat in the front for the first time.
After that we ate ate the Starlight Cafe-- I got the exact same thing, with the addition of mushrooms to my tomatoes and relish double cheeseburger. I asked Aaron to take a picture of me Ami-chan style. There's this really weird red aura in the picture, could it be a ghost?! I don't know, Aaron took the picture though. Afterwards I rushed Luk and Aaron back to Tomorrowland so we could take a Neoprint-- I frowned that it was $4, and the picture quality sucked, but the pictures were somewhat bigger. I paid the $4 and we took one with Buzz Lightyear.
What was funny was during taking the Neoprint Aaron put his pop on the floor, and it spilled! After taking the Neoprint (which was rather long because I wasn't used to the machine, and I had to pick out the right design and we had to get the right post) we were rather pressed for time. We ran-- somewhat, anyway-- to the entrance of the theme park, and pushed our way through a massive line to ride the monorail. And while we were about five minutes late, we were the earliest group there! Anyways, this picture is a picture of Aaron looking... coy? I don't know, this is a really weird picture of Aaron. He doesn't really look this most of the time. Honest.I remember as I came back to the hotel our band director said something like, "They just got out of the elevator. 45 minutes ago." It was around 10 or so when we got back, so that surprised us. I knocked on Alex-tachi's hotel door and asked what happened, and they said they got out a long time ago. I wanted to know. I also asked if I could borrow Ben's Walkman. Anyhow, that night I tagged along with Armand and a bunch of girls to Denny's. We first got permission from Kristi, one of the chaperones, and then we left at around 11:30. We got to Denny's and it took a really long time ordering. The subject at the table was mainly centered at the elevator incident, and how we all felt bad for them. I ate, though, so I only ordered dessert, which was a Fudge Cake Sundae thing. We finally got our food served, and we took a long time eating, and paying. We finally walked back to the hotel, and some of the girls were just fidgety and worried that Ms. Jenni left really sarcastic notes on their door. One of them said something like, "Have fun calling Acox at __ AM! ^_^ " They seemed rather cruel, but could be interpreted many ways. I knew we weren't in trouble, because it seemed the elevator incident overshadowed everything. Sarah called Acox, and she handled things really well, although I knew Acox wasn't really angry. Everything was settled though. I went back to my hotel room and tried to go to sleep, but I couldn't. It was too hot. I also developed another bloody nose... I got blood all over the sink, in the bathroom, it was awful. It looked like I had my period :) Not that I would know anything about that. I went to get a drink but realized I didn't have any change, so I went back into my room, and got my glasses :) There were girls standing in the hallway who I couldn't recognize. I bought a Nestea for $1.50, and turned the corner to greet Alana and Sarah who were writing letters to Acox or Jenni (I can't forget who.) After that I went back to the hotel room, drank all of the Nestea rather quickly, and fell asleep at around 2:30. |
